The Role:
Responsible for assisting key business process owners in creating and modifying existing business processes on the E&P BMS application, working with the vendor to manage testing, training all E&P users, and administering the BMS application for the clients E&P business to achieve operational effectiveness.

BMS
In order to optimise operational effectiveness:
• Understand the overall E&P business processes.
• Identify the function leads that own the key business processes.
• Work with the Project and IT teams to resolve any BMS application issues.

General Overall Responsibilities
• The ability to create or modify business processes on the BMS application (new or enhanced processes).
• Act as a super user and subject matter expert on the BMS application.
• Support process owners (function owners) with any annual process reviews.
• Manage reporting from the BMS application i.e. providing trend analysis and BMS reporting.
• Define user groups within the BMS user community (create or modify as the need arises).
• Single point of contact for the Business on BMS and share best practices / discipline to E&P staff.
• Act as train the trainer and provide BMS application training to E&P staff.
• Provide support with the external consultancy to support any agreed process workshops relating to organisational change in order to define or enhance processes.
• Liaise with E&P IT / the client's IT to manage any BMS application infrastructure issues to resolution.
• Liaise with the external BMS application vendor for application issues and upgrades, where applicable.
• Act as the E&P BMS Ambassador i.e. be the single point of contact when liaising with the vendor for product upgrades and sharing benefits within the client's E&P.
• Liaise with business users when organisational change is planned.
• Ability to request and update the BMS application with appropriate content (text) from the business process function owners.
• Carry out BMS application reporting for month end, quarter end, year-end where applicable.
• Ability to manage specific BMS application project tasks.
• Work with the external vendor to test the business processes to a quality standard.

Specific Responsibilities
• Actively build a working relationship with the business process function owners.
• Ensure E&P staff awareness on the client's E&P BMS product.
