The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The contract is to work on a project to establish the optimal way to keep diesel aftertreatment warm whilst minimising CO2. The work will involve technical investiagtions into novel aftertreatment components, integration of the vehicle electrical power with the powertrain, developing calibration methodologies


NB:The project work will require significant visits to other sites (e.g. Whitley). It is likely that th department will move to Whitley (from Gaydon) within the period of this contract.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Systems engineering, modelling (using MATLAB/SIMULINK), on-line calibration of powertrains using INCA
At least two years post graduate experience within an industrial environment using modelling and simulation tools

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Masters degree in an engineering discipline
