The Company:
Our client is is the worldwide leader in tetherless, through-wall remote-controlled pipeline pressure isolation services. They minimize pipeline downtime through fast-track delivery of project-specific pigging, repair and handling tools, both onshore and offshore. They provid customers with products and services they need for pipeline maintenance and construction.

The Role:
Provide advanced engineering analysis, modeling, and planning to effectively integrate various technical disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic) to support product development efforts for world-wide Offshore Pipeline Solutions.

- Develops and maintains procedures related to manufacturing, assembly, testing and service of products and equipment,
- Participates as technical expert in field operations and installations when required,
- Performs/supervises construction and assembly of products and engineered solutions,
- Assists in resolution of non conformities & customer claims, and takes necessary actions,
- Participates actively in quality assurance system by optimizing and maintaining procedures,
- Assists in the development of technical manuals and related marketing collateral as required,
- Performs feasibility studies to support customer and market-driven development opportunities;

- Coordinates activities to create integrated systems comprising mechanical & hydraulic components, electrical circuitry, and software
- Designs products and solutions in accordance with engineering procedures e.g. technical reviews, customers requirements and applicable codes, preparation and verification of schematics,
- Addresses technical problems as they arise, inventing solutions, and suggests system design changes as required,
- Creates 3D design and production (2D) drawings using existing CAD tools,
- May be called upon to present work at industry seminars,
- Ensures Manager and other members of the product team are apprised of progress on assigned projects,
- Reviews work of self and others to ensure systems are designed with minimum complexity and maximum result,

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in scientific or engineering discipline combined with min 5 years experience in related field, Masters degree is a strong asset,
- Experience with programming for scientific applications in C/C++, MATLAB, or Python,
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and related control systems,
- Abilities to work in and lead teams / take initiatives independently, stress resilient and able to multitask,
- Ability to work in an international environment,
- Good communication skills (written and oral) in English,
- IT literate, experience with modern CAD systems.
