Fircroft are seeking a Procurement & Supply chain management Specialist for a long term contract position within Azerbaijan

Location: Baku (Fab Yard)
Duration: 12 months rolling contract

The Global subsea PSCM Execution Specialist will be accountable for the successful delivery of Subsea Hardware and Aftermarket/Life of Field (LoF) activities in the region as well as for day-to-day coordination and management of PSCM activities in support of the execution of Subsea Production Systems, Umbilicals, Flexibles and Wellheads Sourcing & Contracting activities across all Operating Functions (OFs) in the AGT Region.
The GSS Execution Specialist will be accountable for demand planning, sourcing, contracting and supplier/contract post-award management activities by the deployed GSS PSCM execution team. The role requires a collaborative One Team attitude essential for managing relationship with Line representatives, Contract Accountable Managers (CAMs), support functions (Projects Services, HSSE, SQM, Finance, etc.) and respective OFs PSCM Teams to deliver an effective and fully integrated GSS PSCM support solution. The selected candidate will serve as the GSS PSCM lead in the region and will interface with the Regional Category Delivery Director/Manager as well as Subsea Operations Manager and GSS Subsea Project Managers in the region.

Key accountabilities:
Demonstrate and promote HSSE behaviours aiming to maintain safe and reliable operations.
Accountable for developing and maintaining cross-OF demand inputs into Contracts & Procurement Plan (CPP).
Accountable for regional supply chain risk assessment and mitigation management.
Represent regional inputs into development of Aftermarket Services/LoF strategies and related sourcing and contracting activities.
Perform, coordinate and manage the day-to-day GSS PSCM activity set in support of GPO, GWO and GOO.
Lead & support development of subsea Contracting & Procurement strategies in support of Major and Cat B Projects in the region and lead sourcing & contracting activities.
Assurance of PSCM delivery against the OFs’ programme milestones.
Support GSS AGT-North Sea Execution Lead in provision of inputs into global Category Strategies and Category Management Plans (CMP).
Support the Line and GSS Execution Lead in the formulation of Project and/or OF Programme Contracting Strategies including presentations to the relevant OF CGBs and Partner Boards, as required.
Execute and performance manage contract strategy elements in support of OF’s deliverables.
Deliver value through effective and efficient sourcing and contract management, in compliance with CMcp and Regional Contracting Governance, including representation in the local Contracts Governance Boards and supporting Partner engagements as required.
Act as a source of functional expertise supporting the Line/CAM in Supplier and Contract Management activities.
Accountable for P2P compliance assurance and execution of PSCM transactions in Backbone within the DoA.
Represent GSS PSCM in day-to-day interaction with the stakeholders.
Maintain and develop relationship with OF’s stakeholders, ensuring integration and demonstrating One Team behaviour.
Compliance self-verification and audit support, as required.
Progress reporting and data compilation.
Support AGT-North Sea GSS Execution Lead in key stakeholder (such PGMs, Programme Managers, Project PSCM Managers, Regional Category Delivery Managers, Regional Director etc.) management.

Essential experience and job requirements
7 years’ experience in PSCM delivery in Projects, Wells or Operations.
Knowledge in application of CMcp, particularly in sourcing/contracting and Supplier Management.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines, hierarchy levels, cultures and geographies, internally and externally.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and One Team behaviours.
Working knowledge of Ariba OneSource and Backbone.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education
Degree in Engineering, Procurement or other technical discipline.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Professional/Chartered PSCM qualification (MCIPS) or equivalent.
7 years Knowledge of Subsea Categories or prior work experience in subsea industry
