The Role:

Provides expert advice and technical support, supervision, quality control, field engineering, monitoring and inspection of the CPF tank construction activities through to final hand-over.


Represent OMV CPF PMT for Field Engineering, Supervision, Monitoring and Inspection of Tank Construction Contractors.
Manage the tank construction contractor in maintaining the construction schedule.
Review work packages for constructability and Project Quality Plan procedure.
Review of contract documents, scope of work, Design drawings and Project Technical specifications pertaining to storage tanks works to ensure full understanding of the work to be done and manage Technical Queries to resolve conflicts/deviations prior to job execution.
Verify and ensure all activities in the assigned area are in compliance with contract specification, drawings, contract requirements and QA/QC procedures.
Review Contractor's preparation of Construction Method Statement for safety precautions as per JSA Job safety analysis requirements prior for lifting operation and modification works.
Assure all revisions in the IFC drawing requirements are met by Tank Construction Contractors.
Responsible for coordinating with the various contractors to ensure that the approved Health & Safety / QA/QC procedures and the Quality Plan are implemented during inspection activities
Review and verify for final acceptance all documents related to works done by Construction Contractors.
Perform similar duties as instructed by the CPF Project Manager or Construction Manager.
Advise and assist the Construction Contractors' Safety Manager, Superintendents, Supervisors & officers in the fulfillment of its obligations for effective implementation of Loss Control program/project safety plan.

Be Responsible for the Health, Safety, Security and protection of the environment at the workplace,participate in the HSSE trainings according to compentency maps and contribute to integrate HSSE into the company culture.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University Bachelor Degree

Bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering.

Expert knowledge in the construction, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of storage tanks in the oil and gas industry.
Minimum of 10 years oil and gas industry experience. Minimum of 5 years hands-on field experience.
Conversant with relevant international standards for construction, testing and commissioning of storage tanks.
