The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest energy companies with over 95,000 employees in 100 countries around the world, providing its customers with fuel for transportation, energy for heat and light, retail services and petrochemicals products for everyday items. Currently looking for an TAR Construction Manager.

The Role:
Determine required resource for workscope, refining trade mix and levels throughout each stage of preparation.
Provide assurance that E&C contractor has adequate capability to deliver all construction scopes within timeframe.
Define and resource an integrated construction prep. & execute org. including supervision and 3rd party resources.
Assist SPA’s and TAR Engineering Manager with the development of SoR’s and ensure construction review records and identified and included.
Define engineering survey schedule with TAR Engineering manager.
Highlight emergency response requirements to TAR HSEA and liquidate general HSE actions as per HSE plan.
General management of TAR CVP elements including participation in challenge sessions.
Track and drive construction readiness using readiness tracking tool (ensure Bookies Board reflects status).
Ensure appropriate (criticality based) QA / QC checks are in place for all TAR scope – working with functional departments and Engineering and Construction contractor to ensure “right first time” delivery.
Provide assurance construction work-packs are high quality, accurate and detailed.
Define and drive completion of scope constructability sessions, facilitating where required (to include offshore sessions and relevant lessons learned).
Deliver (with the Plan Eng) a quality level 4 integrated Pre TAR and TAR execution plan. Ensure 8Q alignment.
Identify and eliminate all TAR SIMOPS issues.
Assist in general communications including TAR scope roll outs and communication of construction readiness.
Identify construction bridging document to include all contractor and operations interfaces.
Identify and track raising of all TAR Contracts via the Projects Services Manager ensuring detailed SOR and methodology statements are in place.
Contribute to and participate in the TAR Induction process ensuring separate specialist sessions held as required.
Identify long lead requirements with SPA’s and ensure orders in place as per CVP timeline.
Owner of the TAR materials tracker and materials management process.
Assist TAR Mgr & SPA in building cost estimate / agreeing apportionment within BoE.
Identification of additional logistics requirements for construction scope.
Review and comment on change requests to ensure that correct resources required.
Identify threats to project delivery and implement appropriate mitigation measures – contingency materials etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within an Oil and Gas operating background.
