The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
During TAR Planning Stage:
•The TAR team Compile & be custodian of the TAR Work list SDAR. (Shutdown Activity Register)
•Take ownership of the overall TAR Plan, agreeing TAR strategy, milestones & success criteria with TAR Team Leader.
•Manage TAR preparation & planning in accordance with In Amenas TAR Assurance Program and industry “TAR Best Practice”
•Convene 1 to 1 meetings with all support office and function heads ensuring that they are made aware of all anticipated work scopes for all departments.
•Ensure optimum flow of TAR information to all parties.
•Identify conflicts and implement corrective action as necessary.
•Resolve any prioritisation issues in consultation with the appropriate focal points.
•Take ownership of TAR preparations onsite activities as required.
•Oversee TAR materials management onsite. Identify TAR storage requirements, review lay-down areas & any temporary working facilities.
•In TAR preparation phases, actively challenge plan at level 4 details with onsite and support office teams.
•Have major input to critical path implementation and definition.
•Ensure that each work scope has an onsite functional owner with clear accountabilities.
•Plan & Participate in Risk assessments (RA) to meet HSE requirements
•Apply TAR plan Change Control procedure in accordance with "Best Practice"
•Via the TAR Team Leader, ensure that the support office resource requirements are identified to fully develop the TAR scope & support the onsite team during implementation.
•Via the TAR Team Leader, ensure that adequate onsite resource and structure is in place to execute the work scopes safely and efficiently.
•Implement and manage all contractors requested through TAR Team Leader
•Provide technical & engineering input on Work Pack development.

During Shutdown Execution phase:
•Lead, supervise & provide direction to onsite resources during TAR preparation & TAR execution
•Provide key link between operations & execution/implementation workforce.
•Co-ordinate and lead execution/implementation workforce.
•Prepare Permits to works (PTW) for all turnaround works
•During Execution of the shut down, this position role will be Construction Superintendant and be responsible for the safe, timely execution of the project.
•Coordinate & Supervise the activities of TAR Construction Supervisors and TAR Specialist Contractors in order to achieve the turnaround targets.
•Provide & make sure all relevant QA/QC &HSE documents/procedure are well communicated, understood and ready by all TAR construction/execution personnel.
•Follow up on the QA/QC during TAR execution phase.
•Provide assistance and advice to TAR construction/execution personnel as required.
•Approve daily progress updates during TAR implementation phase.
•Flag all unexpected scope growth to TAR TL immediately and provide solution to issues raised during execution.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
An engineering degree from an internationally recognised university will be a big advantage
