The Company:
My client is a UK leading Industrial Service supplier. With a wealth of knowledge in delivering solutions to key areas that really matter to there clients'. This has reflected in the growth and rise in stature of my client's business. With a estimated turnover of £120 million per year from £30 million per year where it was 5 years ago.

The Role:
o Preparation Phase
o Complete pre-task site inspections
o Compile and authorise Job Technical Data sheets (JTD’s)
o Produce and authorise Risk Assessments
o Production of work estimates as required in a timely manner
o Reviews plans and co-ordinates work activities to ensure optimum efficiencies
o Accurate and on time reporting as required by management, planning and commercial functions
o Raise Technical Queries
o Ensures all correct materials and equipment are available for the work scope or project
o Attend and input into Major job reviews (MJR)
o Update risk register and track progress reference solutions.
o Execution Phase
o Responsible for the safe execution of works
o Executes work in line with relevant technical standards, BIS and Delivery Team operating procedures
o Supervises all personnel under their control
o To provide leadership and motivation to team members
o Be responsible for the productive and efficient utilisation of resources
o Setting employees to work under your responsibility in a controlled manner and in accordance with BIS and Delivery Team procedures
o Ensure that the workforce is adequately briefed with regard to work plans, procedures, and practices
o Inspection of completed works and formal sign off.
o Capture all variations and/or changes to the original scope of work under their control
o Ensures all daily labour allocation data is accurately submitted in a timely manner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in a similar role within the Petrochemical/Power Industry.
Preferable: Certificate of apprenticeship, City and Guilds, Supervisor (ECTIB), IOSH Managing Safety

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
ONC Engineering
