The Role:
The Tar Scheduler will have responsibility for developing, and reporting against, the full project plan for one or more TAR’s (Turnaround’s).

The TAR Scheduler is a key role in the success of the TAR and will provide scheduling expertise for development of a detailed TAR execution plan (job steps, logic, resources, etc.) , including support for schedule risk analysis

The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:

Developing and maintaining the master schedule for the TAR
Defining the critical and sub-critical path activities, communicating them to the core and integrated TAR teams
Developing and maintaining other schedules as deemed necessary by the TAR Lead including
-TAR Execute Schedule
- CVP Milestone Plan
- Personnel tracking histogram
- Mobilsation Plan
- Schedules required for Segment and region AP processes
Ensuring that the TAR Planning and Scheduling conform to the requirements set out in the Segment and Region Activity Planning Processes and Guidelines
Integrating the TAR Schedule with the Area and Function Schedules, and reporting on the schedule performance of other functions delivering into the TAR Schedule.
Work with TAR SPAs and other functions to develop the TAR schedule and logic path.
Reviewing manpower planning, ensuring that conflicts or duplication of resources is resolved
Collecting progress updates, applying progress to schedules, re-forecasting resource requirements and achievement of milestones.
Responsible for issuing the required schedule and resource reports from Primevera.
Responsible for preparing and distributing the look-ahead reports for the daily scheduling meetings. Responsible for review, validation and entry of field provided schedule status updates.
Responsible for performing required data queries and generation of the required reports to calculate process and performance Key Performance Indicators.
Responsible for executing schedule what if scenarios, performing an analysis and reporting on the results.
Develop, maintain & periodically issue associated progress curves, completing estimates, earned value, etc.
Mentor & coach others on schedule controls to aid project delivery.
Perform other associated duties as assigned.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:

The candidate must understand basic Construction Management practices, the ability to utilize the tools that support this process.

Experience as Planning and Scheduling practitioner with experience of Oil & Gas Upstream Operations and Shutdowns,
Experience as user of Project Planning Software (Primavera P6) and of MS Office suite.
Able to work with multiple data sources and inputs to create integrated project plans with detailed resource allocation.
Able to work with varied levels of detail and estimate confidence to build “best view” plan.
Experience of similar scale project activity including the utilisation of gated project governance processes and KPI measurement.
