The Company:

The Role:
Our Client is currently seeking an Angolan national for the position of Tax Coordinator - to prepare monthly reports with appropriate relevant information for tax inspection and prepare preliminary data for management reports.

Responsibilities will include the below.

Coordination of payments to be made:
 Coordinate the filing of all tax statements required;
 Based on those tax statements, ensure that they are submitted to the tax authorities within the legal deadline, and then calculate the tax payable or receivable;
 Check the legally established deadlines for submitting tax returns, so as to avoid fines being imposed on the Company;
 Check the amounts of tax to be paid by the Company (Corporate Tax, Social Security, Withholding Tax and Stamp Duty);
 Reconcile the tax obligations and benefits for the authorities;
 Request the Treasury to settle the taxes calculated;
 Coordinate the calculation of taxes on turnover (stamp duty, sales tax, etc.) and enter the respective records;
 Undertake fiscal control – analyse the Company accounts, invoices and contracts and prepare documentation and reports to accompany the Company’s tax obligations;

Coordination of procedures and activities to be undertaken:
 Guide the procedures aimed at verifying the Company’s taxes, guiding, checking and organising activities in conjunction with other technicians;
 Coordinate the cost control for preparing the monthly forecasts;
 Coordinate the monthly progress of projects in order to control external expenses;
 Coordinate the reporting of variations for the analysis of performance;

Analysis and interpretation of data:
 Analyse fiscal activity indicators.

Technical reports:
 Coordinate the preparation of periodic financial reports for the Board;
 Cooperate with the Board in the provision of regular clarifications with regard to matters of a financial nature.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Degree in Accountancy or Business Management;
 Professional Experience of 5 to 10 years acquired in the Oil Industry;
 Fluent in Portuguese and English;
 Mastery of various strands/areas of financial management and related fields;
 Knowledge of the financial and investment markets;
 Knowledge of the energy industry;
 Knowledge of Project Management;
 Knowledge of Investment Management;
 Knowledge of Macro and Microeconomic Indicators;
 Knowledge of ERP processes and software;
