The Company:
Our client is a UK based Oil and Gas company with assets around the world but mainly in continental Africa. In the Netherlands the head office of the holding is based in Scheveningen.

The Role:
To offer the “professional face of the company” and provide administrative and organisational support to the Office Manager including manning the reception.

 Answering the switchboard and welcoming visitors
 Screening calls, taking messages and answering queries
 Booking meeting rooms and ensure that these are kept well equipped and tidy (before and after the meeting)
 Arrange meetings, lunches, communicating travel requirements (taxi & hotel)
 Make teas and coffees for meetings
 Arranging household shopping & stationary
 Registration of post-in, mail circulation and courier services
 As service oriented person you will ensure that the office and reception area is kept clean, neat and tidy and always staffed
 Administrative support for Office Manager, including filing, presentation preparation, collating data and following up information
 Provide cover for Office Manager including holidays, flexi-days, sickness etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
MBO levels or equivalent including fluent English and Maths
Administration qualifications advantageous
 Good team worker and to have previous experience of working on reception
 Able to work effectively as part of a team
 Able to provide excellent customer service
 To be pleasant and welcoming
 Excellent MS Office skills
 Ability to prioritise
 Strong organisational skills and service oriented

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively
 Excellent verbal, written and aural communication skills
 Willing to help others with heavy workload at quiet times.
 Excellent MS office skills
 Ability to prioritise and to work on own initiative where required
 Proactive and positive approach
 Excellent communicator
