The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Location : Gladstone / Curtis Island
Required: Forklift LF (high risk work licence) and HR Truck drivers QLD (or equivalent)

As the Logistics Team Leaders you will proved guidance and leadership in supply processes to ensure the availability of maintenance spares & consumables to satisfy the requirements of the operation. You will ensure that the team are operating within the defined requirements of company policies, procedures and audit requirements while meeting all department Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). Also ensure that resourcing, workload distribution, performance management, customer relationships and availability of goods are all managed to a level of efficiency that permits the safe and efficient operation of the department while ensuring that costs under your control are maintained at a level that is as low as practicable

The Logistics Team Leaders will supervise & assist with where required, the unloading / loading of trucks & local delivery vehicles and ensure our compliance with: Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and NTC Load Restraint Guide (Second Edition 2004). You will ensure accurate processing of all internal & external goods movement, shipping, dangerous goods and other relevant documentation; provide accurate consolidation and staging of goods for end users; Oversee the reverse logistics process and Manage the storage of all inventory items with regard to their availability,
accuracy to catalogue description and preservation to guarantee their future usability.

Complying with company policy regarding the frequency, accuracy and segregation of duties relating to stock taking and stock adjustments; you will ensure the operational capabilities of equipment are maintained and that all pre-start checks are carried out correctly. Maintain a clean & safe plant, equipment and worksite. Undertaking periodic (daily) warehouse inspections and others as directed; you will also manage the availability and accurate reconciliation of all fuels, oils, reagents, gases and dangerous goods.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Over 10 years warehouse background with recent experience in warehouse supervision of medium sized teams, within Oil & Gas and Mining industries
• Training in the NTC Load Restraint Guide (Second Edition 2004)
• Dangerous Goods Awareness training (or similar)
• Extensive experience in a computerised Inventory Management system
• Microsoft Excel proficiency to intermediate level.
• A good knowledge of Inventory Management strategies, processes and execution and of Procure to Pay processes
• A good understanding of Chain of Responsibility legislation

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Certificate IV in Frontline Management (or equivalent)
• Certificate IV in Warehousing & Distribution (or equivalent)
• To include Handle Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances - TLID2003A (or similar)
• Preparation to transport dangerous goods by road - TLILIC3013A
