The Role:
Role Description: The Team Leader will lead a group of riggers for installation of equipment on Land and Maritime Towers within the Saudi Arabian Border Guard SIE Project.
The role is to support the Site Manager for the on-going activities on the site, managing resources, materials and reports.
Supervise and support the Lifting procedures and the installation of Surveillance sensors Camera, RDF, GPS, AIS, antenna, Upmost Cabinet and Surveillance Radar on a 65 meter Tower for the SIE project.
Additional Training required due to specific equipment will be provided by AIRBUS. He should have experience in hardwire connections to the equipment and experience in maintenance of equipment racks, computers servers, routers and switches also experience in power distribution unit.
He contribute to the continuously improvement of the practical installation and reports directly to site Manager.
Key Tasks: The key and purpose of the position shall be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Planning and supervising the site activity such as lifting up the equipment the top platform of the tower and installing of Surveillance Camera, RDF, GPS, AIS antenna, Upmost Cabinet and Surveillance Radar on a 65 meter Tower for the SIE project.
- Coordinate with the pre fit team and Warehouse and receiving material on site.
- Receiving and checking materials and goods on site.
- Inspection for damages and pack list completeness.
- Should have sufficient experience and confidence in installing equipment on tower sites and installing the sensors (e.g. Radars Cameras, CCTV), RDF, AIS, aircon-units and special Antennae (Feeders and Wave Guides), supervise installation of cables (Power and Data) at the top of the tower.
- Supervise the installation of the appropriate wires and feeders from the equipment located at the top of the tower through the cable trays to the Ground Shelter on the different types of surveillance towers for maritime and land.
- Red-lining the relevant layout plans (“to built” ”as built”)
- Scan Libels and load onto Site Tracker update.
- Collaborate with Airbus product development team on architecture, design; build requirements and drive optimization related to reliability, quality and performance if needed.
- Able to read and understand drawings.
- He is responsible for all aspects in view of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and Security for the team he is guiding under Airbus policy.
- Installation of pre fitted equipment into racks, (e.g. computers, servers, routers, switches) and complete associated cabling if necessary.
- Supports the rollout team during commissioning and acceptance testing
- Carry out and protocol FSA (First Site Acceptance) with Customer
- Supports the regular reporting to the Site Manager including progress reports.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- College Degree preferred in Technical discipline.
- Installation of at least 2 of the following equipment Radars, IT, Cameras, Antennas, Lifting devices and Waveguide Installation.
- Working within a customer oriented environment.
- The cultural environment of Saudi Arabia or anther Arabic country.
