The Role:
Overall Objective
 Provide a critical interface between the R&D design teams and Operations
 Maintain product data in multiple systems (Local and Global)
 Support other TDC activities

Key Performance Indicators / Dimension of Function
 Timely completion of tasks.
 Attention to detail in regards to data management, record keeping and process compliance
 Acquisition of product and process knowledge.

Leadership, Planning and Execution

 Support a team environment that promotes self-learning, continuous individual & team improvement and working practices
 Identify and escalate issues to Supervisor
 Logical and Methodical working methods
 Ability to work on own initiative and manage workload & priorities
 Diligent to achieve high quality of work.

Organizational Performance
 Contribute to the development and improvement of processes
 Encourage good communication and cooperation within TDC, within R&D, and with other local and EMEA-wide depts.
 Ability to adapt to work in a changing environment and achieve the desired result

 Strong cooperation within Design Teams & Operations

 Accurately maintain Part Data & Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP
 Administration of Engineering Change documentation
 Provide support to others during the Engineering Change Process
 Administration of Concession documentation
 Accurately maintain data in Smarteam (including BOM import)
 Generate basic drawings in AutoCAD
 Maintain other data including Drawing Registers, PVLs, ACLs, Process documentation
 Extract data for other departments on request
 Undertake any other duties that may arise from time to time as directed and to meet the needs of the department.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional experience

 MS Office
 Data handling
 Product Data Management
 Desirable: Experience of the following systems - SAP, Q-Pulse, Smarteam, AutoCAD
 Desirable: Product Knowledge or previous experience within a manufacturing environment

Project experience
 Experience of working within a project team

Leadership experience
 N/A

Intercultural experience
 Basic experience within a multi-national/cultural environment

Person Specification / Educational / Additional Qualification

 A level/HNC/Diploma or higher
 Intermediate Computer skills (must include MS Excel)
 Good communication skills

The following experience would be advantageous :-

 Data management systems e.g ERP, PLM, PDM
 Product Data Change Management e.g Parts, & Bills of Materials (BOMs)
 Process improvement & development
 Manufacturing &/or Product Lifecycle Management
 Creating documentation
 Data Migration
 Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Envir
