The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
To provide administrative support for the Design department, managing databases, and coordinating purchasing activities and arranging travel for field trips.

1. Administration
a. Support department operation with general administrative tasks
b. Head of Department / Functional Manager diary management and meeting preparation
c. Travel planning & bookings
d. Minute taking, preparing presentations, timesheets, holiday booking

2. Database management
a. Facility Maintenance
b. Co-ordinate and report progress of issue resolution in collaboration with the Maintenance department.

3. Purchasing
a. Co-ordinate purchase order requests for the department
b. Liaise with other Design Coordinators/Administrators and Operations Controller for operational activities
c. Raise, track and expedite Purchase orders as necessary

4. Process
a. Support the development of QMS in order to control and development all necessary processes and to ensure compliance with TS16949 and other relevant quality standards

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to work within the team on own initiative and liaise with all levels of management.
• Ability to work within a technical environment and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
• Ability to work with other departments within the business and facilitate communication with the team.
• Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access for Applications.
