The Role:

To develop and maintain the team’s Engineering support services which will maximize its operational effectiveness.


Responsible for collecting, maintaining and publishing all Project-related data for the benefit of the team EE/C.

Ensure that latest project-relevant information is communicated within the team. Become the “oracle” within our team for all project-related subject matter

Establish relations with the Project Electrical Engineering Representatives and become the natural interface on behalf of the whole team. Drive the Engineering Representatives’ requests and demands back through the Engineering team

Prepare, with support from the engineers, all Engineering Release documentation for the team.

Prepare, with support from the engineers, Engineering Change information packs and present at the Project Engineering Change Reviews

Prepare with the support of Engineers, deviation (Permit) documentation for the whole team.

Responsible for ordering and managing the delivery of parts to support prototype builds

Responsible for managing the various project Bill of Materials data on behalf of the team

Responsible for managing the Problem Management process (KPM) within the team. Coordinate all Problem Reports, feed issues to engineers, and work a plan for resolution

Carry out other reasonable ad hoc duties on behalf of the Functional Manager

Support engineers with agreed and specified engineering tasks when appropriate in order to gain experience as a component or system owner

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering or related Degree

A strong engineering grounding and an ability to understand and communicate electronic engineering issues

Microsoft Office skills
