The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Build Site Co-Ordinator.

Pilot Plant Operations are responsible for the construction of VP prototypes to enable vehicle and Rig Testing to be conducted during the vehicle development programme. The Department is also responsible for rework to a saleable level of the pre production vehicles affected by RIS's, and Launch support for all models on all plants. Content Create pick Matrix Allocate Kits of parts for VP vehicles Oversee Stores process Co-ordinate shortages Co-ordinate prototype build modifications Co-ordinate Missing Damaged Wrong parts via GPIRS system Supervise day to day running of stores personnel Liaise with logistics to ensure build requirements are met.

Skills Required:
Candidate should Have capability to drive & motivate the team to achieve results Continually Implement process Improvements Be determined to acieve deadlines & be pro-active in anticipating & preventing any build stopping issues whilst ensuring that product quality is not affected. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives. Understanding of vehicle programme delivery processes & procedures. High degree of inter-personal skills. A full driving licence. Highly motivated self starter who can work to tight deadlines. Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Skills Preferred:
Good working knowledge of automotive systems & Processes - with specific reference to GPIRS, AIMS, APTWERS, GPDS & Release.

Previous programme management / planning / Microsoft Applications - Excellent Powerpoint & Excel Spreadsheet & Data mangement Skills

Education Required:
Degree / Relevant automotive experience.
