The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Project lead the technical studies for the Product Cycle Plan programmes in the pre and pre programme phases. Develop and validate the technical concept proposals to an aligned programme technical description to cover all Engineering areas, Quality, Purchase, Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Design. Develop and maintain a robust set of component assumptions, costs and weight data to develop the requirements and features chosen for future products. Resolve the technical conflicts to achieve the overall product assumptions & attributes in line with the target costs, weight, commonality and variety.

Skills Required:
A sound technical knowledge of key vehicle systems and whole vehicle engineering Successful history of technical analysis An ability to work with financial information and combine business skills with technical decision-making Good communication & presentation skills Good PC skills , especially Excel and Powerpoint Proven project time line management A valid UK driving licence "

Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of the JLR programme & project delivery processes, GPDS & GTDS

Experience Required:
Developing the concept proposals to a programme technical description from to . Liaison with all Engineering areas, Quality, Purchase, Marketing, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Attribute Teams, Product Strategy, Manufacturing and Finance across Jaguar and Land Rover, to compile robust component assumptions, costs and weight data to develop the requirements and features chosen for future products."

Experience Preferred:
Resolution of technical conflicts to achieve the overall product assumptions & attributes in line with the target costs, weight, commonality and variety;

Education Required:
A good first degree in an Engineering discipline is required
