The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Pro-actively manage the Engineering Manager's diary, communication and departmental administration.
Manage the Engineering Record Management process (Traceability) as part of a Project Management Office (PMO) processes, in conjunction with the relevant TS/ISO & Corporate Standards.
Minutes/Action Plans & Task Assignment documentation to be taken at the relevant Design & Engineering Meetings, then distributed, followed up and help ensure compliance for the Managers.
Provide administration support on Travel & Expenses and Consumables.
Organise meetings; rooms and attendees attendance to maximise meeting output.
Organise Team Events and Communications Forums.
Support the department's extensive travel schedule by raising and processing travel requests and making appropriate travel bookings.
Maintain department holiday and test trip plans
Support the maintenance of organisation charts and office accommodation plans
Support new starter's document
Raise and progress orders for business cards and IT
Other related to tasks to support the smooth running of the Nrakes and Braking business

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent MS Office skills ( Intermediate user in Excel, Power Point and Word) Flexibility and adaptability to meet demanding timescales
Excellent communication and team skills
- Able to work effectively in an English speaking team environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with Senior Management & the wider Engineering community while working on and with Projects; Administration; Technical & Engineering information.
Ability to manage their own work load and drive positive results using their own initiative as part of a small team.
Demonstrate a positive, proactive & supportive set of behavioral/personality traits that includes the ability to influence others.
Take meeting notes that accurately reflect the meeting content and identify the assigned actions in conjunction with the Engineering Teams.
Prior experience in an administritive role in a technical environment
4 x GCSE or equivalent including English

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Advanced MS Office user in Excel & Power Point Clean UK car driver's licence
Previous experience as a PA / administrator in an engineering environment
Business Management or Administration qualification
