The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The Role:
Support of error state validation processes for future programmes incl. manufacturing specifications Deliver quality improvement projects within the Axle Concepts / Chassis Integration Group on a range of subjects including (but not exclusively) - Shimmy / Pull & Drift / Steering Wheel Alignment. Work with the manufacturing teams to continually improve suspension geometry setting processes. Investigate specific warranty concerns that involve complex / cross functional interactions. Work with the launch teams to ensure geometry setting is specified correctly and delivered by the manufacturing plants through the prototype build and launch phases
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills Required:
Effective communication skills at all levels Robust problem definition and resolution Ability to drive through multiple tasks to resolution Supplier relationships/management Advanced Microsoft office user (preferred) Basic statistics for capability analysis, sample size etc
Experience Required:
Relevant engineering degree. A knowledge of chassis, suspension and steering systems Proven problem solving skills and use of quality tools Evidence of working in cross-functional, diverse teams. Microsoft software skills, Excel, Powerpoint,
