The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Tenacious and pro-active, with a proven record in successful progression chasing, budget management and target reaching. Ability to work off own initiative and be the driving force behind following processes through from the start to completion. Key Responsibilities Project planning Project management Ensuring availability of parts for all programmes by ensuring that requirements are identified/budgets agreed/orders placed and parts supplied TS16949 activities compliance Managing gateway and VET drive calendars and providing readiness status Raise orders to free up engineers time Financial authorisation and progression chasing Create and maintain budget entries to ensure a smooth process for buying equipment Consumables and CAPEX orders Ensure effective communication between Gaydon based organisation and the test / development teams working throughout the world A clear understanding of Business processes & new business processes; provide a research shop / first point of contact of how to do everything Raising work and financial authorisations in response to team requirements and ensure these are progressed through company processes in a timely manner Covering WWTP and LSSR management whilst Office Manager is out of the office
Activities will be largely on the Gaydon site - but may spread over a number of buildings Some inter-site travel between the client sites may be required A flexible working process is currently being rolled out within the team and subject to appropriate planning and technology being available, the successful candidate would be encouraged to work away from the office one to two days per week.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must be process driven and have an eye for detail An organised self starter with the ability to work to tight deadlines with often conflicting demands The ability to negotiate and build relationships at all levels Tenacious and proactive able to take ownership of projects and following through to completion in the timescales required Excellent MS Office skills (Intermediate to Advance user in Excel, Power Point and Word) Flexibility and adaptability to meet demanding timescales Ability to manage their own work load and drive positive results using their own initiative as part of a small team. Take meeting notes which accurately reflect the meeting content and identify the agreed actions in conjunction with the Engineering Teams. Clean UK driving licence for Category B vehicles Financial and Administration Project/Task Planning Able to work effectively in an English speaking team environment and work with the Off-Shore Engineering communities in Europe, India, China and elsewhere. Prior or Current the client experience would be an advantage, but not essential
