The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Person Specification Tenacious and pro-active, with a proven record in successful progress chasing, budget management and target achievement. Position Description. Provide day to day financial leadership to the Brakes Design Team currently consisting of 175 team members. This will include: Predicting department resource requirements. Control Budget submission and performance tracking. Financial KPI development Deliver routine management information regarding financial performance. Continuous improvement of financial service levels delivered by the Brakes Design Business Team. Submit and progress chase financial requests to support department delivery. Collate and maintain audit documents. Raise consumables and CAPEX orders. Support the organisation of overseas travel for the department including checking of resultant expense claims.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Financial administration and data analysis. Business performance analysis (KPI). Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural English speaking team environment and liaise with the Off-Shore Engineering communities and suppliers in Europe, India, China and elsewhere. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at a personal levels with Senior Management & the wider Engineering and business teams within Jaguar Land Rover. Ability to manage work load and drive positive results using initiative as part of a small team operating within a large organisation. Pedantic attention to detail in all aspects of work including data entry and record keeping. Flexibility and adaptability to meet demanding timescales. Excellent MS Office skills (Intermediate to Advance user in Excel). An organised self starter with the ability to manage workload where there are conflicting demands. Tenacious and proactive, able to take ownership of projects and following through to completion in the time

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience within a medium to large organisation or a significant departments of multi-national businesses. Prior or Current experience with the client or in an automotive engineering organisation. HNC or degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, or Economics or equivalent substantial experience.
