The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The position is as an administrator for the electronics (GRADE) team. This is an exciting and challenging role as a large number of new electronic components and systems are being delivered by a number of different suppliers and are currently being reviewed by the GRADE team. The candidate will need to quickly gain an understanding of the current status, day to day tracking and reporting of status and identification of where things are going wrong. The candidate's role will involve reporting of progress and issues, chasing the responsible engineers to set up reviews with suppliers. The successuful candidate will be required to build relationships with colleagues and customers and have the ability to challenge those in a senior position to achieve success. The role will involve training to use the AIMS reporting system and the RMDV requirements cascade system, and using of these to promote the timely execution of technical reviews.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
General office skills and computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Enthusiasm and energy.
Ability to work independantly as part of a team.
Must have a sense of urgency and good persuasion skills.
Must be able to deal with challenging and difficult people.
Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office.
Candidate must have experience of administration and chasing to get things done in face to face interaction and using remote methods such as phone and video conferencing.
Microsoft Office essential, Word / Excel / Powerpoint to an advanced level.
Proven administrative skills.
Good written and communication skills essential.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
It would be beneficial for the candidate to have some experience working with electronics engineers and/or working in the automotive environment.
Experience working in the automotive industry.
Experience working in an administrative role in the automotive industry.
