The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
As the team has grown there has grown with it a requirement for a role responsible for supporting the Simulation group through technical administration. Primarily responsible for the coordination of all client CAE training & software purchasing. Responsible planning, monitoring and submitting a variety of core administrative functions, compilation and reporting out of numerous efficiency metrics for the client CAE community. Simulation software Coordinator in the client Simulation group for all Simulation software requirements and issues: Liaison with key technical leads; collate their software requirements; manage through the approval processes with extensive collaboration with Purchasing, Licence Renewals team, IT and Finance. Simulation/CAE training coordination and planning role: tracking training requirements across all Simulation functions for our client. Budget monitoring and training completion tracking and management; Planning for new training course requirements for simulation teams including negotiation with simulation tool vendors regarding course content; liaison within the company training department required to ensure that scheduled training and new requirements are realised to plan; Creation of metrics and reports and publishing reporting to CAE teams; Preparation of annual budget forecasts and updates with input from the technical leads around the business.

This role will also incorporate simulation hardware and software usage/performance tracking and monitoring. This will require preparation and execution of processes to track high performance computing and software utilisation. Prediction of likelihood of soft/hardware capacity usage issues is required and preparation of strategy recommendations for capacity planning by CAE strategy team. Intervention required for critical issue resolution and IT liaison representative for CAE strategy team. Preparation of annual budget forecasts and updates. Raising, management and progression of expenditure documentation through SAP. Facilities organisation/bookings and management for the Simulation Group: Vehicles, Virtual Innovation Centre, conference and meeting facility scheduling and booking, including all management and team off site's and special events such as Share fairs and town halls Responsible for taking and distributing the meeting minutes and action management for the CAE S-PAT & Strategy Governance meetings. Various other support tasks to aid the efficiency of the team, including: Talent Link & B2B management & CV initial filtering; CVN/IVN document creation and management with ETS Factory; IT hardware ordering for new starters; Shared area drive folder access & maintenance. Be results driven and meet commitments. You should strive to seek out improvements to business processes to support customer service & financial objectives. An excellent understanding of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, have high levels of personal organisation and welcome the challenge of operating in a varied and fast moving environment with minimum supervision. Have excellent communication & planning skills. Ability to build relationships and liaise at technical and administration level from information gathering to delivery of software.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of SharePoint beneficial
Previous experience of Google / Google Docs /PowerPoint beneficial
Exposure to SAP
An understanding of MS Access
Degree preferable

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Planning, monitoring and co-ordinating multiple complex tasks. Worked in large teams requiring strong inter-personal skills.
