The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The Role:
To Collate, Report and Manage the SIPPE Project covering GPS Trackers, and to demonstrate to Senior Managers the benefits & amounts saved as per the Prototype Fixed Cost Reduction initiative. Additional duties will be to oversee & cleanse FMS of its (current) 6000 plus spurious entries & to regularly reconcile FMS to Vehicle Accounts. Further duties within Fleet Control admin - report running / Prototype registration duties / re-taxing (including managing the changeover from valid displayed tax discs to the removal therefor by DVLA Swansea. It is envisaged that this position would be for an initial 12 month period with a review after 9 months by the Senior Manager to determine future departmental capability
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Successful Candidate must be Computer Literate, ideally with some experience of the Motor Industry and Vehicle / Fleet Management. A Financial background would also be useful along with the ability to produce reports and graphs and present them using PowerPoint presentation software.
Ideally a Fleet Management / Financial / Vehicle Manufacturer background but would consider graduates from the same disciplines along with more experienced Motor Industry individuals
Degree would be preferred but candidates with suitable background/experience will be considered
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will also be used to working in Teams, have an extremely flexible outlook and be willing to travel between all JLR sites. A clean Driving Licence and the right to reside and work in the UK are also requirements.
