The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
To manage all Health & Safety & Environmental Audits, both internal & external on behalf of the Engineering Fleet Control Department. To ensure all Risk Assessments are upto date & COSHH regulations adhered to. Further duties relating to Vehicle Accounts & Fleet Vehicle reconcilliation on behalf of the Fleet Governance Forum coupled with month end reports for the Engineering Fleet Department. It is envisaged that this position would be for an initial 12 month period with a review after 9 months by the Senior Manager to determine future departmental capability.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Successful Candidate must be Computer Literate, ideally with some experience of the Motor Industry and Vehicle / Fleet Management. A Health & Safety / Environmental Awareness & Financial background would also be useful along with the ability to produce reports and graphs and present them using Powerpoint presentation software. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate attendance of H&S Courses, ELV Regulations, COSHH & Environmental Awareness.
Ideally a Fleet Management / Financial / Vehicle Manufacturer background but would consider graduates from the same disciplines along with more experienced Motor Industry individuals
Degree would be preferred but candidates with suitable background/experience will be considered

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will also be used to working in Teams, have an extremely flexible outlook and be willing to travel between all JLR sites. A clean Driving Licence and the right to reside and work in the UK are also requirements. Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office is necessary & any candidate selected for interview will undergo a short test to assess competence level.
