The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
- Take full responsibility of the technical process
- To create and maintain size and specifications,
- Create and maintain testing standards and fit and sample requirements for each style
- Measuring samples in preparation of meetings
- Ensuring quality in areas such as strength, durability, colourfastness, and water and chemical resistance
- To approve fabric quality, lab dips, prints and components for colour prior to bulk production
- To facilitate final production checks and complete inspection reports prior to shipping
- Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product
- Create critical path for each style in collaboration with factories
- Liaising with designers, and adapting designs to suit production methods
- Support designers with technical knowledge
- Report to the commercial category manager on all issues, status and progress

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience of women’s and men’s multi product categories incl. knitwear, woven’s, jersey and technical outerwear
- Minimum 3 years experience within a similar garment technical role, with fit experience is required
- A confident knowledge of grading, garment construction & specs is essential and preferably a knowledge of patterns
- Knowledge of European and International sizing incl. US
- Knowledge of childrenswear would be highly advantageous
- We are looking for a well organised, self-motivated individual, a team player who is IT literate incl. illustrator and excel and the ability to self-manage their workload to critical path deadlines
- Applicants must be able to drive and have access to a car as local transport links are not regular
