The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Specialist Durability Test Engineer - Component/System Test Rigs

Please note that the successful candidate may be expected to work on a two shift basis (6am-2pm & 1.30pm-9.30pm).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Practical experience of working in rig test environment, exp. of electro-hydraullic test rig operation and running/managing test programmes.
- The candidate must also have proven history of sample assessment/investigation after test and report writing.
- Experience of electro-hydraullic test rig design/build/operation.
- Experience of working in structural / rig test environment

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to develop methods and document work effectively.
- Ability to liaise with design engineers, test engineers and fitters to support development of test rigs.
- Ability to manage / schedule workload and deliver in a timely manner.
- Good knowledge of motor vehicle systems, road load data analysis, measurement transducers such as accelerometers, load cells, etc
- Experience of RPC and/or drive signal generation would be advantageous
