The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Lead the development of a stock control system for wheels and tyres utilising current business systems wherever possible taking into account all customer & physical process needs. Develop an issue & receipt process for all permutations of wheel / tyre combination the site experiences. Develop internal movement documents to facilitate outward and return shipping of wheels and tyres to test venues. Support load / un-Load of wheels and tyres on delivery or dispatch and confirm deliveries and dispatch match orders. Manage & operate these processes once in place.

Skills Required:
Good verbal and written communication skills. Good organisational skills. A good ""team player". IT literacy: stock control systems, e-mail, MS office. Good knowledge of automotive industry. Clean UK driving licence for Category B vehicles. Ability to work within Health and Safety Risk Assessments making appropriate use of PPE and lifting and carrying equipment.

Skills Preferred:
UK Driving licence for categories BE and C1

Experience Required:
Experience of stock control processes Experienceof facilitating stock movements

Experience Preferred:
Experience in an automotive parts storage or component logistics organisation

Education Required:
GCSE or equivalent in English language and mathematics

Education Preferred:
Automotive mechanics / Vehicle maintenance
