The Role:
The Technical Assistant, is accountable for providing technical support to the frontline Onshore Operations teams and OIM’s. The role is designed to assist in the delivery of excellence in production and engineering support to the offshore operations teams through the provision of efficient technical assistance to the respective ACE support teams. This role is expected to develop as there are additional resources bought into the wider team. This is a very varied role and can cover different areas depending on the teams needs at the time along with on-going work.

Assistance to the engineers:

• To support the maintenance management process.
• Work with the ACE teams to develop and then manage key ACE processes including the management system for prioritising and managing repairs and correctives.
• Availability management set up new systems and maintain.
• Support the engineers with Vendor visit arrangements and fielding technical queries to the right people.
• Compile data for Formal Technical Assessment (FTA's) using Bi-Cycle and Maximo
• Ad hoc administration to behalf of the ACE teams including the raising of Work Orders and Purchase Orders.

Technical Support Engineering team leader and OIM:

• To be the custodian and gather data for the KPI’s.
• Preparation of Data in support of various Partner meetings.
• Arranging Logistics of key meetings & team building.
• Key engagement communications.
• Updating systems i.e. training profiles etc.
• Analysis on different systems and data to report anomalies or areas of improvement.
• Entry of incidents, event and audit reports into traction plus co-ordination of support on traction.
• Run or provide the inputs to specific meetings including Production improvements, Integrity etc..

Production Management:

• System administration of production tools including PEI & process net.
• Generating areas production management reports in preparation for monthly production meetings.
• Supporting the ACE teams in driving production efficiency by running the production losses reporting system and providing analysis of this data.
• Complete weekly production report including the week look-ahead production target.
• Analysis of data and trend information.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
User knowledge of basic MS Office applications.
Numeracy skills essential Experience of data management and tools such as business objects.
