The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Technical Assistant to maintain and support the Technical Services (Assurance, Interface, Risk, Quality and Project Execution) systems and databases including risk register, Project Action Tracking System, Decision Register, Quality Management System Training Records, Project organisation charts, Project Execution Planning tracking database and interface database.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Identify opportunities for improving these tools and processes, seek endorsement and manage implementation of improvements through to completion.
• Assist in the generation of reports for all functions in accordance with a reporting schedule, coordinate and participate in audit exercises and update procedural documents as necessary.
• You will work with the Technical Services Manager and Project team members to coordinate stakeholder engagement meetings.
• Develop agendas, interface with management to identify presentation topics and material, generate compiled presentations, distribute agendas and pre-read to participants, prepare and distribute meeting minutes and track action items.
• Provide support to Technical Services Team members in presentation and meeting preparation and report writing .
• Provide back-up Administrative support to the Technical Services Team as required.
• Support Assurance activities for the Project including benchmarking and review activities.
• Provide mentoring on report templates, DMS, legal and communications.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• Technical AS, or equivalent experience Higher National Certificate (HNC)
SharePoint, Visio, MS Project experience
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Good communication and technical writing skills, highly proficient with all standard MS Office software
