The Role:
MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

To provide administrative support for the Powertrain Engine Management Team, managing databases, and coordinating purchasing activities.

RESPONSIBILITY/TASKS AND CUSTOMERS

Administration

- Support department operation with general administrative tasks
- Functional Manager diary management and meeting preparation
- Compiling and distributing test facility status and utilisation
- Minute taking, preparing presentations, timesheets, Holiday booking

Database management

- Engine calibrations
- Filing of engine ECU calibrations in appropriate master file structure.
- Transfer of file structure to Engine Test Facility PCs
- Facility Maintenance
- Create and maintain a tracker of facility issues.
- Co-ordinate and report progress of issue resolution in collaboration with the Maintenance department.
- Purchasing
- Co-ordinate all purchase order requests for the department
- Liaise with other Powertrain Coordinator’s/Administrator’s for Capital Expenditure requests
- Raise, track and expedite Purchase orders as necessary

Process

- Actively support the development of QMS in order to control and development all necessary processes and to ensure compliance with TS16949 and other relevant quality standards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Ability to work within the team on own initiative and liaise with all levels of management.
- Ability to work within a technical environment and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
- Ability to work with other departments within the business and facilitate communication with the team.

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

- Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access for Applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Educated to A Level standard or with proven Administration experience and have a technical background and automotive experience, power train beneficial
