The Role:
General Position Purpose:

To prepare the Materials Management Procedures that will be used by the MM Transition Execution Team to transfer Assets and Materials from the Delivery Party to the Receiving Party during the transfer that is planned to take place within the next 12 months.

Scope of work :
The summary scope of work is as follows:
• Prepare the overarching MM processes based on the clients Group model
• Develop 22 backbone procedures, including embedded process flow charts (see attached slide pack)
• Support development of ancillary MM procedures based on demand and re-prioritisation
• Prepare procedures rollout packs

Special Challenges :
Working in a bureaucratic environment driven by a complex PSA and Kazakh legislation.
Working in a venture with many partners.
Sustaining an excellent working relationship with clients key partner, recognising the long history of the project.
Implementing clients standards in a project that is already far underway. Assuring that the minimum standards are achieved.
Working within and towards a very challenging project and start-up schedule to deliver first oil as per agreement

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* CP/ Materials Management professional with >10 years experience
* Knowledge of SAP Materials Management module
* Knowledge of Visio and other process mapping tools
* Hands-on experience with developing procedures, especially for new operating companies
* Detail oriented mindset
* Good communication skills – both oral (for interviews), and written ( for documenting procedures)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
In order to process work permits in Kazakhstan the authorities require high education (min Bachelor level or higher).
Much of this work will be carried out outside of Kazakhstan however candidates will only be considered if their qualifications and past experience indicate that they have many years of experience in procedure developing in line with the specific requirements.
