Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:

To ensure the timely and accurate delivery of Service Technical Electrical Systems Information to all worldwide markets (supporting approximately 180 dealers) in line with new product/project launch timing. Role holder must produce concise Aftersales technical information for Electrical Vehicle Systems to enable dealer technicians to maintain and repair Bentley products in a timely and accurate manner. To ensure this information is correct at the time of publication and updated in line with all relevant changes to the specification of the product. To deliver this information within the Product timing Plan.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Maximum of 5 relating to products, services etc.)

1. Responsible for the creation & maintenance of dealer Workshop Electrical Systems Information at New product or Model Year launches utilising Engineering design information.

2. May need to deputise for the Electrical Systems Senior Engineer as an interface with Bentley Engineering Functions

3. Supporting the delivery of dealer and customer satisfaction targets in line with company and VW Group targets. Ensuring customer mobility and technical support for vehicles 1955 to current.

(such as sales volumes, production volume, number of bought parts etc.)
1. Documentation – Dealer Technical Information
a. Creation: Using experience, an analytical approach and physical validation on product to create detailed workshop technical electrical systems information to service and support the Bentley product during it service lifecycle.
b. Maintenance: Using detailed information from standard business systems implement changes to support new part/system changes for existing product.
c. All documentation to be Technically Checked in line with business process and task instructions to ensure data is of the highest quality containing the correct technical approach and warnings.
2. Health & Safety:
a. Responsible for detailing all warnings/cautions and notes to highlight to the end technical information user of any issue that may cause damage to Dealer Technician, End Vehicle Customer or Product.



• Previous experience
o Time served Craft Apprentice
o Automotive technician/electrician
• Ability to produce clear, concise and unambiguous written instructions in English.
• Computer literate with a demonstrable level of experience of data retrieval from computer systems.
• Experience of producing written information for external publication would be preferable.


• Knowledge of Automotive industry, Bentley Product and dealer practices.
• Knowledge/experience of working in other Bentley or similar Automotive Company functions – eg Engineering.
• Knowledge of Electrical Vehicle Systems and their interactions on the product.


• Time served Craft Apprentice automotive engineering or related discipline
• Automotive technician/electrician


Responsible for ensuring all Health & Safety warnings and cautions are considered when producing Technical Information for the dealer network and non-franchised trade.

Responsible for ensuring that the Electrical Systems Information Team operates in accordance with site policies and procedures in respect of Health and Safety, in order to ensure the safety of Associates and visitors.
