The Company:
Our Client has operations in the world's most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The company also has interests in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, the Netherlands and Norway. The client is the largest private producer of oil in Kazakhstan and the top O&G producer in Thailand. They produce almost half of the crude

The Role:
•Promote a strong safety cultural leadership environment which improves standards of safety performance
•Close liaison with core service providers to ensure standards are met or exceeded
•Own and drive tasks assigned in delivery of the Operational Readiness Plan
•Demonstrate HSSE leadership in establishing operational practices which include high standards for health, safety and environmental performance
•Develop and assist in review operations and start-up procedures to ensure technical quality and operability.
•Gather comments during review meetings and feedback agreed comments back to Technical Author (ODL).
•Address technical queries from Technical Author (ODL) on comments/remarks or supplied source information.
•Provide Technical Author (ODL) with required source documentation.
•Check and sign off Operating Manuals/Procedures before publication in IMS.
•Manage vendors and support contracts as assigned.
•Produce IMS documents based on input from Ops and Engineering staff as and when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Proven track record for Technical Authoring

-Experience in oil and gas industry and works well with people as the ideal candidate will be liaising with offshore personnel and technical personnel onshore when reviewing the documents

-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and in particular word

-Past experience with Operating procedures would be an advantage
