The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and gas operator and has operations though out the world.

The Role:
The Technical Authority Process Engineering will provide technical guidance and lead Process Engineering for the upstream business.

The technical Authority will:

• Provide specialist Process Engineering input into the projects and operations for upstream production.
• Contribute to written company practices, and ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide technical assurance as required.
• Lead reviews including HSE assessments and process design reviews.
• Develop and deliver learning programmes to build capability and expertise within the upstream business.
• Work closely with the specialists and engineers from all disciplines.
• Input into the process engineering work and deliverables from the engineering contractors and suppliers.
• Provide expert knowledge of all relevant industry codes, standards, and international/local regulations.
• Maintain awareness and providing evaluation of technology developments and opportunities within the industry.
• Provide experience of Leading Research and Development and network programmes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related subject.
• Experince of working as a Technical Authority and Leading Process Engineering teams.
• Knowledge of design, selection and application of upstream oil/gas/water separation and conditioning equipment.
• Principal Design and Operations knowledge and experience within the upstream industry.
• Hands on experience of oil & gas plant commissioning and operations.
• Experience of the engineering supplier and contractor communities.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering Chartership.
