The Company:
A medium complexity refinery, Europe's second largest refinery complex.

The Role:
Coordinate all engineering inputs required for the urgent purchasing and installation of 4 condensate pots for the SDA unit.

Coordinate the different engineering discipline inputs to the SDA Condensate pots design.
Follow-up and approval of vendor documents in relation to the SDA Condensate pots replacement.
Expedite the review of documents within the DCC timeline and distribution matrix.
Attend Kick of Meetings and Pre Inspection Meetings with Vendor and Contractor.
Follow-up of open points with EPC Contractor, Suppliers and internal team.

Principal Accountabilities:
Prepare and maintain action lists for engineering actions, coordinate with TR and the internal teams to have these closed out in an efficient manner;
Approve comments on vendor documents, and clarify with TR when necessary Client specialists comments;
Reply to Technical Queries (TQs) issued by TR in relation to SDA Condensate pots in alignment with the Field Engineering Coordinator;
Make visit to the Suppliers shops in order to ensure planned delivery dates are maintained;
Plan with Quality department the necessary inspections, at vendor shops;
Ensure that the necessary quality documents are progressed quickly and efficiently, ie NCRs and ITP;
Review piping isometrics structure drawings and welding procedures to ensure that works on site can be performed in the shortest possible duration but at the required quality level;
Arrange 3D model reviews with IND / TRA participants, for replacement SDA Condensate pots;
Assist with Construction team in the review of installation in order to minimize site activities installation of replacement pots;
Provide Technical assistance to Field Engineering Coordinator for engineering subjects as and when called upon.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Refining or Chemicals (Min. 15 years, 20+ preferred),
Good working knowledge and cross functionality skills
English language required, knowledge of French and Dutch a big plus.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Technical knowledge and experience in Refining and/or Chemical Turnarounds. Experience of Refining or Chemical projects is highly desirable.
High level of knowledgeable of Static Equipment, welding and piping.
Good understanding of equipment installation requirements.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Willing to work irregular hours
Potential travel to Vendor workshops.
