The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.

The Role:
We are recruiting for a Technical Engineer for our client ABB

ROLE REQUIREMENTS are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering design and construction data for vessels and piping
• Comparing design and operational data from different sources to identify discrepancies
• Coordinating technical meetings
• Summarising relevant technical data from consultants and clients into an electronic database
• Allocating, recording and progressing actions
• Preparing reports


A full UK driving licence is required and you must be willing to work away from home with minimum supervision. You will have good verbal and written communication skills and be computer literate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BTEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience in the process industries is essential.
A full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
Knowledge of non destructive testing techniques
