The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
"Fundamenatly an Instrumentation planning and/or delivery role supporting teams within PD The person will be part of a small team of Engineers/technicians having a number of diverse responsibilities. Supporting both office (planning) and workshop based (practical) activities and working within small teams that are all linked to the instrumentation discipline The person will be expected to work closely with our customers, capture their unique requirements and share a package of aspirations with our vehicle build teams"

Multiple site location i.e. Browns Lane, Gaydon, Solihull and Whitley

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
"Collation of measurement requests and job cards from a multitude of engineering customer/'s e.g. Body, Electrical, Chassis, Powertrain, Hybrid and Design Support our technicians in the preparation of the customer/'s engines and vehicles e.g. temperature, pressure, displacement, voltage, current and CAN 'measurands' Excellent Project Management, planning and communication skills are essential for this * Will have a broad based knowledge of instrumentation and its application
* Preferably a Degree or HND/HNC in Instrumentation and/or Electronics or an associated engineering discipline

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Will have a broad based knowledge of instrumentation and its application and have preferably supported similar types of activities before Ability to manage complex, dynamic technical and business issues in tandem with the often conflicting needs of the business"
* "Good all round organisational skills are a fundamental requirement for the role Will be expected to manage our interface with the Programme, Engineering and customer teams Should be able to demonstrate a background in the coordination and planning of multiple coincidental processes and events Will be expected to manage the preparation and test readiness of vehicles for a multitude of vehicle T&D programmes
Exposure to the Instrumentation discipline and an awareness of it relationship to whole vehicle testing Solid grounding in Project Management, Planning and delivery"
