The Company:
Our client, a major international engineering & construction company, seeks expertise for projects in Atlantic Canada.

This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The Role:
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Ensure project schedules and client approved budgets are managed.
- Prepare detailed Cost, Time and Resource estimated based on client supplied work scopes.
- Ensure design and analysis are in accordance with applicable codes, governing statutory regulations, procedures, offshore installation specific design philosophies and meet project objectives and industry best practice.
- Adhere to all HSEQ requirements within the structural discipline in accordance with the procedures and management systems.
- Responsible to carry out structural engineering duties as required on assigned projects.
- Originating and checking of structural documentation including but not limited to design drawings and reports.
- Responsible for the preparation of BOMs and RFQs for structural equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- An Engineering Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- 4-10 years of related work experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Engineers must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office tools, to advanced template creation and document/data management level (MS Office and MS SharePoint xperience an asset).
- Basic Survival Training is preferred.
