The Role:
• Provide specialist technical assessment, advice and guidance
• Support UK business unit in the development and maintenance of the HSE and Asset Integrity Assurance Management Systems.
• Advise on various compliance queries.
• Liaise with Authorities and Asset Operators, as appropriate.
• Lead, manage and/or participate/advise in HSE risk identification, assessment and management activities.
• Coordinate the execution various studies, reviews, verifications and assessments.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Member of a chartered institute (preferred).
• Suitable NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent qualification and/or experience (preferred).
• Significant relevant oil and gas/chemical/energy industry related experience.
• Knowledge of the key technical safety related risks associated with different phases of an E&P development.
• Understanding of UK offshore oil and gas industry and legislation.
• Understanding of Safety and Environmental risk modelling tools.
• Understanding of offshore Structural Reliability Assessment principles.
• Good audit/investigation skills and experience.
