The Company:
Our client is a global leader in the manufacture of elastomeric and plastic seals, metal gaskets and engineered products for the upstream oil and gas industry.

The Role:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY AND FUNCTION:
• Develop and drive relationships with European and Caspian region OEMs and service providers, managing all aspects of the business partnership.
• Identify leads and opportunities for business development activity, and ensure the product portfolio is promoted effectively to the relevant departments within OEM and service organizations.
• Obtain endorsement for products and solutions through working closely with OEM and service provider business leaders.
• Represent the organization to the assigned customer base, facilitating product presentations and handling development requests as appropriate.
• Provide monthly reporting and communicate customer issues and opportunities back to the business.

REPORTS TO: European Sales Director

SUPERVISES: N/A

JOB DUTIES
• Set and achieve agreed regional sales targets
• Prepare and submit weekly call plans and to the European Sales Director
• Maintain and grow existing customer base while also bringing new customers onboard
• Proactive reporting of marketplace dynamics including market trends, competitor intelligence etc.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal departments
• Prepare a business plan to increase sales in short and medium long term

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE JOB:
• Must be able to confidently present the global company’s products and solutions
• Ability to utilize effective communication skills and planning techniques.
• Ability to work effectively within a matrixed global sales structure

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 10+ years of sales experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry
• Engineering, Business or related degree preferred but not mandatory
• Legally permitted to work in Country without any form of sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to travel up to 50% overnight and/or internationally
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Microsoft suite of software
• Strong written and oral communication skills – English and at least one other language
