The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
The Control of Work (CoW) Trainer will provide on-site training in Anchorage and at multiple North Slope facilities. This position is responsible for the delivery of several Company training courses to various levels of the organization, as well as contractor personnel. There is intended to be two positions based in Anchorage, with periodic travel to the North Slope.
Responsibilities
1) Attend “Train the Trainer” sessions and become an authorized instructor initially for the CoW Performing Authority course, and later for other CoW courses as specified. 2) Organize training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery. 3) Conduct on-site, in-person, classroom training. 4) Submit course rosters for record keeping. 5) Execute effective evaluation tools and report progress to management as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications: •Prior working experience in Company’s North Slope Operations with knowledge of work permitting and task hazard risk assessment processes. Experience with training software tools. •Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Basic business acumen and an understanding of corporate etiquette and the ability to ask the right questions to understand true business needs. •Ability to engage and work with all levels, including employees, management and contractors. •Ability to manage multiple priorities and possess good organization, facilitation and group coordination skills. NSTC certification current.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications, the successful applicant is likely to be able to demonstrate the following: Training with Time Entry and Time Approval software.•Availability to travel and work on a flexible schedule. Ability to use a variety of learning/training concepts and principles along with knowledge of adult learning.
