The Role:
• Focal Point for providing technical support to internal departments and external Customers
• Assist with securing engineering and Projects business including preparation of associated quotes
• Ensure provision of appropriate technical response to client
• Generation of engineering solutions to meet customer requirements
• Ensure positive relationships with appropriate DRT Product Responsible to facilitate approval of “form, fit and function” changes
• Approve engineering changes within defined controls
• Create/amend equipment drawings using AutoCAD
• Be able to technically assist Spare Parts, Sales, Repair and Overhaul and Project Delivery departments
• Interface with Customer with respect to industry safety/reliability initiatives
• Participate in marketing activities such as exhibitions, client outings etc
• Prepare, participate in, and approve, Factory Acceptance Tests
• Carry out offshore assignments, typically survey activity, when required
• Participate in out of hours on-call rota

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified in electrical/instrument discipline
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic drilling equipment
• Familiar with equipment design theory and application
• Underpinning knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications
• Ability to use AutoCAD software
