The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
For our client, we are looking for a Technical Trainer to join the company’s operations team. In this position, you will design, deliver and evaluate training activities for the operations division. You will develop training material and testing regimes for the technical operations team and conduct audits for checking compliance with technical standards, licenses and permits to ensure quality assurance; to manage the ongoing training environment.

Key responsibilities include:
• Identify and analyse training needs of staff
• First point of contact for all training requirements
• Ensure staff attend required vendor training
• Ensure employees are trained and assessed and compliant
• Manage assessment, reassessment and refresher training
• Manage, coordinate, train and develop the trainers by providing appropriate supervision, coaching, and guidance
• Develop training scenarios, material, programs, schedules and delivery methodologies
• Ensure all information including data and systems contained are accurate and up-to-date
• Conduct audit and verification activities for measuring effectiveness of training and reporting.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will need to have the following:

• Experience with conducting a training needs analysis
• Experience in developing and implementing integrated competency frameworks within heavy industry
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) and Tertiary qualifications
• Experience with designing training packages
• Oil & Gas industry experience, specifically with training
• Experience working with National Training Packages.
