Our client is an international Oil & Gas Operator with a particular focus on the Middle East.

The Role:
Job Description:•

The Technical Training Lead will work independently while applying subject matter knowledge in preparing, managing & monitoring all training activities related to Technical & HSE training for Engineers, Technicians & Operators. This person will work very closely all directorates to develop specifications for content of courses and implement successful training programs
• This person will work with Functional Training management and various stakeholders to ensure that technical courses are meeting operational requirements, and overlook the Course Development & program implementation with third party vendors
• This person will lead the Graduate Program and assume the responsibility of designing & implementing Client Graduates Program targeting fresh Iraqi graduates from technical schools & universities.

Accountabilities:

• Establishes and implements standardized technical training programs, testing, and certification programs for all Technical & HSE related programs
• Develops evaluation criteria, review materials, and administer the examination/certification process
• Identify nomination criteria and ensure training is addressed to the proper target audience
• Develops a course evaluation and feedback system to continuously monitor effectiveness of training programs
• Work closely with Competency Assurance Lead to ensure all courses are mapped to BGC Competency Assurance Program
• Maintain accurate/up to date records of all Technical training activities
• Work closely with Field Coaches to ensure OJT & Coaching activities are aligned with developmental needs
• Manage all third party vendors outsourced by client, ensure standards are followed and smooth implementation of the program
• Work closely with department heads to ensure training activities are addressing operational needs
• Ensure Functional Training achieves planned activities
• Design client Graduates Program; setting up program's framework; identify graduates selection criteria; identify development opportunities for graduates and align programs' objectives to business objectives
• Deliver comprehensive career exploration and career planning services/programs to students and graduates; provide career counseling and career assessment administration and interpretation; coordinate & manage client Graduates Program; coordinate and present specialized outreach programs designed to heighten graduates' awareness of potential opportunities within client
• Work on special training projects addressing specific technical disciples or departments

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirements:

Complete all missing JDs and Comptetency Profiles
• 5-7 years of experience in technical training
• Previous field service experience
• Knowledge of graduates development theory and career counselling
• Verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
• Organizational & planning skills
