The Company:
Provide training, coaching and consultation support to Samref employees in the area of Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer & Control Systems.
Assist in the preparation and administration of the development programs in the area of specialty for Samref engineers and non-engineers, as well as, university/college students.

The Role:
1 Identify, arrange and coordinate off-the-job and on-the-job training with Samref Manufacturing Departments as well as the out-side Training Vendors and other Corporations.
2 Develop and design new training/development programs and prepare/continually up-date curriculum for training courses including E-learning courses, computer based training and blended training.
3 Prepare and conduct Technical training courses and coaching sessions in the area of Electrical, Instruments and Control Systems engineering.
4 Assist in preparing and conducting training courses for Electrical/Instruments technicians as and when required.
5 Report the effectiveness and validity of technical training courses and maintain up to date records of training events in SAP.
6 Administer, follow-up and monitor the implementation of Individual Development Program (IDP) for employees in area such as Electrical, Instruments and Computers & Control Systems under the ESP, MDP, or any other career development program.
7 Assist in the Career Development Process including the Proficiency Gap Program for Electrical, Instruments, Computers and Control Systems engineers and non-engineers.
8 Hold meetings and perform coaching and consultation on technical/engineering training support matters for Electrical, Instruments, Computers and Control Systems engineers and non-engineers.
9 Coordinate proper training for coop/summer students within the area of specialty, and follow-up their progress with Samref departments.
10 Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as may be required by the Immediate Supervisor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
B.Sc. Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and formal training qualifications. Master or PhD holder is preferred.

Specialized Knowledge:
Refinery process, maintenance and operations. Communication abilities, both written and verbal. Computer skills and good knowledge in engineering software. Course design, develop and conduct.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous Experience Required:
10 years refiners/petrochemical overseas experience (preferably Middle East), seven (7) years of which as an instructor.

Working Knowledge to be Acquired on the job:
To be able to do refinery related T&CD work assignments. To provide Saudi Engineers and other Refinery professional employees with technical training tailored for various job targets.
