Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Location : Temporary position in Geoje Island (Samsung Heavy Industry) South Korea. The position should be employed by personnel located in Korea.

Project description;

Valemon is a HPHT gas-condensate field located 10 km west of Kvitebjørn. The reservoir is complex with expected reserves estimated to roughly 35 MSm3oe. Valemon is one of the largest non-developed fields on the Norwegian S

The Role:
• Follow-up of the EPC Contractor Technical Safety discipline for the construction and commissioning phases, and contribute towards the other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with PSA regulations and contractual requirements.
• Package responsible for the firewater systems and safety equipment for the topside delivery for suppliers both in Asia and in Europe.
• Review engineering and construction documents and drawings, Technical Queries and Non-Compliance reports, ensuring compliance to established design from the engineering deliveries.
• Follow-up of the technical aspects of the construction such as FW systems and piping, passive fire protection, fire and gas detection, Fire Protection Data Sheet, Safety equipment, escape routes and evacuation systems.
• Develop system for life-cycle follow-up in operation for the barriers given in TR1055, and follow-up and contribute for establishing test and operational procedures for these barriers
• Follow-up and contribute for establishing test procedures for the commissioning and operational phase for the Safety Instrumented Systems and functions
• Contribute to maintain and develop an constructive working environment in the Statoil project group and towards Contractors

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Relevant Master degree or equivalent. Relevant extensive experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience from project execution within Working Environment in projects
• Insight into the Norwegian Authorities regulations and technical standards, and preferably Statoil requirements.
