The Role:
The primary responsibility of the Technical Writer will be to develop, edit and update technical process documentation, including policies, procedures, and/or policy manuals with a specific focus on the following:
Re-vamp / Create New Engineering Query and Technical Service Request Process
Update GoM Engineering Procurement Process Documentation and Sharepoint Site
The Technical Writer will also participate in the production of other communications materials such as PowerPoint presentations and computer based training material for publication on the GoM VTA System.

DELIVERABLES: Other deliverables may be identified after work commences
Engineering Query and Technical Service Request Process
Develop Process Map and/or Swim Lane Process Map
Develop Responsible Accountable Perform Inform Decide (DIAGRAM) Diagram
Develop Engineering Query and Technical Service Request Procedure
Develop Presentations to Engage GoM Community on New Process and Socialize Process
Develop CBT Training Module to instruct individuals on how to implement the process

GoM Engineering Procurement Process
Revise and Update associated Procedures, Job Aids; potential to create new documents or job aids, e.g. Supplier Documentation Requirements for Hub to OME / P2P Buyer Purchases
Revise structure and Update content of GoM Engineered Procurement Process Sharepoint site
Develop Presentations as required to engage GoM Community on potential changes
Revise/Update CBT Training Modules developed previously to ensure content is up to date and any potential changes reflected

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, modify and Update Technical Documentation for the processes mentioned above, including development and modification of process maps
• Develop modify and Update policies, procedures, and manuals
• Communicate with relevant personnel to gain a comprehensive understanding of processes and activities. Expected to schedule meetings with relevant personnel, capture and incorporate information into relevant documentation and processes.
• For all deliverables (see above), expected to develop high level plan for work with milestone completion dates, deliver to plan, and provide periodic updates on progress or risks to delivery
• Interface with GoM Operations Training Personnel to implement Computer Based Training Modules for processes above.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Able to work proficiently with all MS Office Software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc…)
• Able to work proficiently with MS Outlook - primarily scheduling meetings with relevant personnel
• Able to work proficiently used to create Computer Based Training (CBT)
• Able to create and modify Sharepoint
• Familiarity with CLIENT GoM Procedure Format
• Familiarity with CLIENT organization is a plus
