The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
To provide support for the Powertrain Project Management Team, managing databases, coordinating and reporting KPi pack and functional activities where required. Administrative support for the department.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration

- Support department operation with general administrative tasks
- HoD diary management and meeting preparation
- Compiling presentations and timing plans for HOD and DOD as required
- Facilitating meetings, creating agendas and minute taking,
- Timesheets, Holiday booking, travel arrangements
- Prepare Stimmungsbarometer report for department

Database management

- Manage, track and report
- Co-ordinate and report issue resolution
- Transfer of information to master file structure
- KPi reporting pack
- Maintain master file structure
- Manage access rights

Purchasing

- Co-ordinate all purchase order requests for the department
- Raise, track and expedite Purchase orders as necessary

Process

- Support audit requirements TS16949 and other relevant quality standards
- Tracking and reporting of powertrain supplier ratings
- Generate and maintain departmental skill matrix and training folder
- Support on time MBO submissions for department

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Ability to work within the team on own initiative and liaise with all levels of management.
- Ability to work within a technical environment and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
- Ability to work with other departments within the business and facilitate communication with the team.

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

- Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Access for Applications.
- Basic understanding of German Language is advantageous

QUALIFICATIONS

- Educated to A Level standard or with proven Administration experience and have a technical background and automotive experience, power train beneficial
